The original film was much better. I didn't like how the new film portrays the Freman as unsophisticated and believing in a lie taught to them. The original movie depicts a lot of honor towards the Freman. Also, I didn't like how Paul betrayed Chani by offering to take the Emperor's daughter as his wife. Again, this is a deviation from the original film. In the original, Paul is completely faithful to Chani. I'm not so enthusiastic to see a sequel. I'm disappointed.

A wonderful film. My 3 year old daughter loved it, but I loved it even more. My favorite part was the snowball fight and the dancing. I really liked the diversity and mixture of different cultural influences throughout. Outstanding.
