Hated hated HATED this movie. My four children also hated this movie, and we are huge Disney and Pixar fans. It made them cringe and cry and then when it was all over talk angrily about how they shouldn’t have done that to Woody and that the movie didn’t make sense. There were sooooooo many other ways they could have wrapped up this franchise. But rather than give it a sweet, happy ending that found Woody back with Andy and ready to be passed on to Andy’s children (as he should be) or at the very least, the gang all together moving on to another child, they have to leave it with Woody unloved, cannibalized (gross, wrong, and disturbing.... not noble as they tried to make it seem) and without all of his friends (who by the way, were the only reason he left Andy to go to Bonnie). They should have stopped with Toy story 2. That movie ended so well. It left you feeling good and kept the future bright for all the toys. But they just had to keep going and made two more sequels that just kept going down hill. If you like happy endings and have a soft spot for the toy story characters, do NOT watch this movie. It will totally ruin your night, and you will find yourself wanting to forget it so that you can imagine a proper future for all of Andys’s toys.
