Yes,it's a good book for reading.Pip's childhood kindness for a runaway convict evokes our emotions,this kindness earned him fruits at some time in future.without the convict's financial help he couldn't be able to come to London and could not strive to become a gentleman.He suffered a lot for his poverty but did not go astray fully.Ultimately he got his loved lady,presumably became a happy man. Dickens has sketched a number of diverse characters,both good and bad....these are interesting to note.Diverse human natures through some characters have been exposed.Poetic Justice has also been dispensed to them.A picture of contemporary Victorian life is also available from this novel. So it is a book worthreading.
