I loved Tom Selleck as Magnum. It's difficult to see Jay Hernandez in the role. He doesn't have what Tom Selleck contributed to the character. John Hillerman was superb as Higgins, not cool on Higgins being a woman. Anyway, I watched the whole show for the first time because I read that Roger Mosley was going to be in it. It's not bad, it's just difficult for older fans to accept. I still watch reruns of the 80s Magnum. It had a quality and chemistry between the characters, that I don't see in the new one. If the new generation is liking it , God the woman should take a look at Tom Selleck in his prime. Wow!
