Wow, really? "Barely tolerable" would be kind. Are they reviewing a different series? Slow, poor writing, characters just running through the motions. A 9 year old could have written better. Unbelievable incompetence. I wasn't exactly cheering for the bad guys, but found myself indifferent, thinking "one thing's certain, they deserve to lose". Only the bad guys' poor shooting allowed them to pull it off.

Where Lord of the Rings meets GOT. I just can't give it 5 stars because the stupid role of Jessier (the cheesy bad singer guy who thinks he's funny) just ruined it! I cringed every time he appeared, which was half the show, but tolerated it because the rest was so watchable. However, Season 2 gets a solid 5-stars because they mostly wrote him out, writing in a lot of more serious & relatable characters - none cringeworthy! It's some solid Lord of the Rings style great fantasy storytelling! Highly watchable!
