Those whining about Joel & Ellie not being perfect heroes, about the sharing of the story with an early antagonist and later a more humanized protagonist, and, worst of all, having bigoted views against LGBQT, need to check themselves before they wreck themselves. This is storytelling at its finest. Awful behavior from many characters, but totally plausible in a world fallen totally to hell like this one. If it’s not the fairy tale you wanted, too bad!
