I could only tolerate the first half. Filled with false emotional moments and clichés harkening back to the earlier films it reminded me more of an homage than a new episode in the series. I recognize that Disney wants to include a much younger audience, but the cutesy dumbing down of this latest offering borders on tragic, where is Jar Jar Binks when you need him? I will eventually finish the movie, but I suspect I'm going to need a lot more alcohol to overlook its flaws if it stays true to form.
