Jackie Chan in a non-humorous action flick that shows him in a sad, depressed and vengeful way? It works. Pierce Brosnan shown in a vulnerable, confused and aging bad guy role? That works too. The fight scenes are well done, people including Chan actually get injured, and other than a slow down or two, the plot moves along at a good clip. The supporting actors are well cast, and having lived near London for three years, I enjoyed the realism. Pretty much a complete surprise for me, I have enjoyed it several times immensely. Well done.
