Mrs. M (Kaiyashu)

Went in with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised! Usually our movie studios don't pay attention to the source material when it comes to adapting video games, but Paramount catered to the fans and made Sonic the Hedgehog a way better flick than we were expecting. His redesign is perfect, the animation is fantastic and Jim Carrey was the perfect choice for the villain. Even if pairing a beloved toon/game icon with a "regular guy" is a tired trope, James Marsden did a great job and was infinitely more likable than most other male leads. Would definitely go see again!
