Dimmer in color, character, and in particular, sound. Were they trying not to wake any sleeping babies? Where's the majesty, the feeling, the power?
Beautifully drawn, but that's it, not even any real life live action.
I'm headed home to find the old VHS, crank the volume, and truly bring the Lion King back to life.
