Slow and pretty boring. There was an opportunity, but they have the majority of action/fight scenes OFF-SCREEN! I don't get what the point was of making an animated movie if they don't utilize it to make a single badass fight scene. Some characters die but it's hard to care because they only had 1 line of dialog. You know the MC isn't going to die, so all the "near-death" scenes with the MC in the 1st half of the movie are incredibly lackluster. Every time a scene comes up and you think, "Ohh here we go, awesome action sequence coming up!" they just end it, and the MC narrates what happened instead over a transition screen. 60 animators and they were used to make wind, hair blowing in said wind, and horses running. Very disappointed as I really wanted this to be good, and for the bad reviews to be more wrong.

Seen it a good few times. Will always be one of the best horror movies.

turned a nice short story into a total snoozefest. everything was cheap CGI and no thought really went into it. What was supposed to be a 3 year project was turned into an entire 'trilogy' being filmed in 1 year 4 months, almost exclusively with green screens. No heart was put into this film whatsoever. Just greedy people who wanted to milk the popularity of the original.

Its basically a knock off version of Alien. Special effects in Alien are better and its like 20 years old. Horror aspect of Alien is better. Actors have more depth in Alien. Its an all-star cast yet it's boring. They don't show any skills to prove they are even worthy of being astronauts. After watching Apollo 13, another movie from 20 years ago where they actually proved their metal and did things normal people cant do, here they don't need to do anything because the ship does literally everything for them, actors basically just read the monitors to us. Then the guy who they say "out of the billions of people on earth only he can do the job" yet all he's doing is poking and toying with an alien life form with a cattle prod. xD If you enjoy terrible movies that's the only enjoyment I got out of it.

Jessica Alba is a badass! Side characters could use a lot more love, you really don't care about any of them as they have no depth. Its good enough to watch and it's not too long so I'm giving it 4 stars generously. Netflix never really makes good movies but so many negative reviews just because the lead is a female is crazy lmao. Hope to see more Alba, she looks great doing action.

This might as well be a Marvel movie with how unimaginative, solely reliant on mid CGI and forced comedy it is. Characters have no depth, including the Villans. 5 star reviews are definitely fake.

Yes the plot has holes, especially in the beginning, but if you can put that aside like a levelheaded adult(I know, so rare now adays) you can enjoy the film as it is entertaining. Its not going to change cinema or anything obviously, but compared to all the garbage being produced these days you can safely say this is much better.

Solid action movie with the correct balance of plot and action. This movie has a budget of 3 million and does literally everything right. Actors do a great job and Cinematography is perfect. I'd say the pacing and story are very reminiscent of Total Recall. Any normal person would enjoy this movie. If you don't love this movie, you are the problem. Well Done Leigh Whannell.

Good enough to watch if you can ignore the faults...They make her out to be of super-spy potential despite being a down-and-out junky with no future. If she was as smart as they portray her to be, she would have never been a drug addict prostitute to begin with, being owned by some slummy drug-head boyfriend. We are made to believe that in 1 year she was able to transform from low-life scum to the #1 secret agent in the world, all because she was good at chess when she was a child. Yes, really. LOL. Fight scenes were okay, but there are the typical times where her adversaries are pulling on her leg or giving her a bear hug instead of using their firearms. She defeats 20 bodyguards with relative ease, yet the guy they are protecting gets the drop on her and almost kills her...Why does he even have bodyguards? Barely anybody even pulls a gun on her the entire film, which we're supposed to be believe is plausible because she's a beautiful woman? I guess...
