Well done! This is a story evoking pathos for all involved. Like a Greek tragedy that suddenly becomes a story of redemption, you will not leave untouched. The abortion scene is seen on the sonogram. It is graphic only for those who believe life begins at conception; if you don't, then you shouldn't be afraid to see it. If you do, you will be reminded of the preciousness of what it means to be a human being and a mother. What you see on screen is the mildest method of abortion and could have been much more heavy-handed and pedantic, especially given the ghoulish late-term procedures which are now legal. This movie left me with an appreciation of the specialness and worth of a woman in her role as a mother. In this sense, it is perhaps the best movie I have ever seen about what it means to be feminine.
