Watched Leave No Trace on Memorial Weekend 2019 and gained new insight into Veterans who prefer living off the grid. I empathize greatly in their struggle to find a place to belong as they deal with PTSD often diagnosed by their isolation, societal distrust and intense sense of self and responsibility. This movie was a perfect one to watch on this ‘holiday’ weekend and inspires me to listen more and avoid crowding veterans with ‘my’ thoughts. Not a bright and happy ending, but one with an acceptable resolution for both father and daughter. Great acting, realism and well done.
