The music is good, it was a rage back then. But the film lacked core. The plot was predictible the acting was average and the performances overall was below average. Not a great film by any means

one of the very very few films i found utterly annoying and disgusting. the plot was too boring. the screenplay was further flat. the storyline was dull and predictible and everything was out of place. bad film. the director probably didn't have a clear visioj while making this one

ugly is a beautifully crafted film. it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the while. the potrayal of each character is real and yet dramatic enough to keeps you entertained. anurag kashyap is in his element in this film the plot is riveting. the casting is on-point. ronit roy is a charm to watch and so is suvreen chawla who excels in a small but enticing role. all in all a great spine chilling expirience. perfect watch.
