Bravo. Simply brilliant and refreshing change of the MCU formula. Had a feeling of a Harryhausen epic crossed with MCU. Cannot help but feel that this is what the DCEU wanted to be but could not get it right, well Marvel have got it right. Bravo, encore!

Had a bit of retro sci-fi thriller about it. Yes some the action scenes could have been better story-boarded and maybe some plot points improved to drive it along.
Overall an interesting and enjoyable film with a cast that deserves to make a sequel. If Marvel Studios do reboot the X-Men into the MCU then there could be a plot device to have this happen after they are introduced, but unfortunately it will never happen.
