I’ve read a majority of these reviews and I suppose I see why people like it. It’s not horror though. It’s a dark romantic drama. I’m being a lot kinder than I actually feel in this review, only because I initially thought it was marketed as a horror series, but it is listed in the genres of drama and occult fiction which is more accurate than anything horror related. I have 2 kids. To dedicate time to watching a 9 episode series actually means something so it better be worth it in the end, and personally, I felt it fell WAY short. It was interesting for the first few episodes, then it painstakingly drags you-in the slowest manner possible- to an ending that I felt leaves the viewer asking, “Really? All that for this?” Many reviewers thought it was classy and brilliant. I thought it was terribly slow, pretentious in a beautifully British manner, and extraordinarily disappointing. ( British accent) So I slept, and I watched, and I slept and I watched more, and alas, I forgot. Perhaps it was because the show becomes unbearable after episode 5, but still I watched, and I walked, and I slept, and I thought and I slept more, and then finally- I forgot. For in the end, this series isn’t worth remembering...
