Excellent choices made for a book adaptation, showing a clear attention and appreciation for the source material. Solid pacing, excellent character development. A little campy where scenes are effects-driven but solid acting of the entire primary cast carry you right through. A very satisfying experience for fans of the books and newcomers alike.
