Disrespectful to the uniquely bodied. The details of the hands and feet of the witches (additions not in the original book or film) which are being labeled as “scary” and something to avoid, are conditions that real people live with. These differently abled people already have to deal with stares and uncomfortable hesitations, it’s awful they may have to now deal with the association to “monsters”. These unique limbs do not need to be hidden, and this film propitiates the attitude of shame.
