Where to start, I understand the point of not having mushu in the movie to add realism. However, if you are going to use that point then don't include a witch that completely OP or warriors that can run up walls. Training sequence I assume was to allow us to get to know the soldiers more and see Mulan's development, both of which seemed not to happen. Mulan already had Chi that she was hiding so honestly she was powerful already and you couldn't connect to any of the soldiers. Next the fight scenes felt disorganized and cringe. Lastly, just the whole ending felt off. Mulan doesn't join the guard to go receive forgiveness from her family. Once she does, it was second's later they asked her right back again into the guard. Was the army following her the whole way back 🤣 Anyways that's my opinion.
