It’s sooooo bad… I suppose it’s very Disney? The story and directing are certainly wildly bad… like it was written by an amateur who doesn’t like Star Wars, for a local play.

Really poorly done. Missed opportunity for something truly great… instead, it’s rubbish.

At a few points, I really enjoyed it, but I ended up feeling more like I was on a ride at Disney than watching a convincing story unfold. I would blame the director, much more than the actors, for the lame acting which was prevalent in most scenes. Ridley and Driver were great. The rest were pretty terrible... with few supporting exceptions. Pandering to the audience was a tactic that failed for me and is not GOOD Star Wars. I just can’t expect good Star Wars stories anymore... Bummer.
