I watched the Fifth Estate episode on polygamy secretly practiced by the muslim society in Canada. I salute the muslim wife whose husband married a second wife and salute her daughter for speaking out against polygamy in her religion and against the imam who has been in the news many years ago and the government is not deporting him. I salute that lady because normally enlightened and moderate muslims are afraid to speak out against immoral issues and practices in their religion fearing the brutal consequences from the practicing muslim minority and imams, so they stay silent.
The hard line practicing minority and imams controls the majority with fear and terror as it has always been the case throughout history with this ideology and until this day.
I would like the Fifth Estate to continue the investigation and ask the police and courts what action they are taking when they discover someone is married to 4 wives (legal in Islam) and wants to continue living in Canada and break the law?
Why some people are above the law and why there are double standards which are widening after the Liberal government took office in 2015 where the law does not apply to some and applies to others?
Can I simply break the law then and claim that my whatever religion tells me to do so and this is my "human right" under the charter of rights?
