Ted Burcaw

Night Agent was a great watch which I almost scrolled past. One of the best political thrillers I’ve seen in a while, it’s almost impossible not to binge. The cast is excellent, The writing is sharp and the plot never ceases to be intriguing.

This is a horrifying story, wonderfully acted and filmed. The viewer knows the Sackler family still avoids consequences, but perhaps this series will shine a light bright enough on their crimes that they might be held to accountability. Michael Keaton is excellent, as are all actors. Addiction is depicted authentically. The series pulls no punches.

Just. Watch. This. Disturbing, Violent. Quirky. Witty. Original. Beautifully filmed, it was a great surprise to discover this story. All actors are splendid. Joshua Caleb Johnson’s portrayal of the fictional character Onion is at once profoundly innocent and yet wise beyond the years of the character’s turbulent young life. Ethan Hawke’s portrayal of John Brown may very well be legendary- he is magnificent on the role.
