I don't understand why people think this is good game. I guess most people don't have refined taste or are distracted by the graphics? Here goes:
Stamina bar - unnessary
Climbing all the time, not fun
Scenery - Amazing, but much of it unnecessary. Ancient technology clashes with rest of game
Cultures - Zora & Rito interesting esp with native American bird motiffs
Story - All seems well, why fight?
Shrines - Horribly annoying constantly throughout the game
Divine Beasts - No combat? All bosses the same, beasts all look pretty much the same too
Combat system clunky, slow, no tactics. Truly awful. Lack of combat, enemies all the same and no reason to fight
Items - weapons break, lots of time spent navigating items in menus. Upgrades are annoying, linear and repetitive to achieve
Button mapping choice very confusing
The only other strongpoints were horse riding but it's frustrating at times and snowboarding on shields but you never really need to use it.
This game was released to amazing reviews and I just don't get it. It's not at all a good game besides exploration. Lots of pieces of fragments of a game not tied in together properly. It was a poorly designed game and actually amateur in many ways.
