There is a lot of bias in the favour of Romans, I must say. Some figures like Giovanni Giustiniani are overly glorified. Moreover, Romans are portrayed as heroes and a stronger emotional drama has been created to convince the viewers in favour of Romans.
Moreover, the conquest is shown as a mere chance of luck than Sultan's military intelligence, strategy and courage. I've felt that the Ottomans were misrepresented. They deserved a better representation.
Anyways, the overall drama is good for entertainment purposes. For real history lessons, we should always rely on authentic and unbiased books.
