This was a really good movie! The reason other people say it’s bad is because they compare it to the original. But that’s not fair since comparing movies to the original movie is bad since that means people will almost always say that the original is the best. Another reason people hate it is because of the new backstory but it’s already been explained why they did it and it was because of copyright issues. I believe this movie was a great time at the theaters and I plan on watching it more. If you’re a Chucky purist then it is probably not for you (even though I love this movie and I’m a Chucky purist) but if you like the series or just like horror movies then watch it without thinking about the original. I give this an 8.7/10 and suggest you should watch it if you want to watch a great horror movie. Chucky deserves to be seen and even though the original series is continuing in a tv show,I still hope that we see the new Chucky more. Yeah it has its flaws and it’s not perfect or the best of the series but this is still an amazing movie!
