Beautifully filmed and acted but as the whole premise of the film is based around a completely fictitious relationship between Emily and the curate, it all seemed pretty pointless. Was it to just draw in the Brontë fans? If so, it failed miserably.

The worst depiction of this awful disease I've ever seen. If it weren't bad enough the way the English are represented in such dire stereotypical characters, the way Alzheimer's is portrayed is truly awful.
Every symptom you can imagine shoved into one character. It won't help one single person either with this illness or trying to help manage a loved one with it.
Utter offensive rubbish.

Loved it. Funny, warm and entertaining, much needed at the present time.
