Cinematography, period clothing, sets, perfect, performances - some are brilliant, some mediocre. Everything else... Well... Not so great. Unfortunate that there will be a generation of young adults who might end up thinking the underground railroad was an actual train. To much style and too much subjective interpretation of substance. Overall a lost opportunity to re-tell such a traumatic part of our history. I gave it 2 episodes, but couldn't watch anymore. Check out the Harriet Tubman biopic for a much for accurate depiction, that isn't muddied by someone else's (the director) bizarre interpretation.
