Here's what I have to say about the most controversial movie, ever. It's brutal in the right areas unfortunately. Rape scenes are supposed to make you want to vomit and make you uncomfortable. However Jennifer Hills portrayed by Camille Keaton refused to runaway instead she fights back and rights the wrongs. She commits the most cringing death scene in horroe movie history by knifing off the main antagonist crotch off while in the bath tub. Other than the revenge scenes this is actually a very well done movie.

If there was ever a remake that's worthy of its predosessor it's this one. With a few call back scenes paying homage to the original film this film proves worthy. Yes spots are brutal to watch. Almost to completely. Sarah Butler who portrays the new Jennifer Hills originally portrayed by Camille Keaton does a near perfect job with the facials. Spots do drag a little bit granted. But this film delivers when it needs to. The expressions she gives at the right times were spot on. The directing from Steven R. Monroe are magnificent. This film is its own but at times repeats the original which is what you want in a remake. Its own but repeat. Nice film overall.

This movie was simply outstanding. James Cameron put out a top 5 film of all-time. From clever and witty jokes that were well timed to some clever one liners. A romance film that is probably the greatest of its genre. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet had chemistry that was so obvious. Billy Zane was simply outstanding. Gloria Stuart was clever, charming and show stealing. Great direction from beginning to end. Great writing/acting. If you truly love a well balanced film and have a love for documentaries this movie is for you.
