I think Hynek is a very interesting character. This show explains a lot of the stories in the X-Files. I wonder if it is true that intelligent men in the military really believed that the Russians had that kind of tech,since most of their abilities came from us. The spy part of the story is cool and believable. I saw flying saucers in 1973 and I thought by now there would be some kind of proof of their existence.
