Merry Christmas Review - 4/5 Two thumbs up for Raghvan's genius. Exhilarating ride with great performances from the unconventional lead casts of Sethupathi and Katrina. I would urge you to pay attention while watching as the movie challenges audiences intellect with fine details. You may either love or hate the ending but the penultimate 15-20 mins are great entertainment. The dark humor which Raghvan has always excelled at had me in splits, also Pathak does well in a brief appearance as a cop. Best moment: Impromptu dance sequence of Katrina and Sethupathi at Christmas night Issue: Wish initial hour and a half were pacier Why to watch: Unconventional thriller with dark humor, Sethupathi and Katrina's chemistry and an original story with great twists.

Sanju didnt live up to the expectations. Its a good flick but Hirani’s Karan Joharish apporach of adding melodrama kills the overall experience. One feels a huge part of Dutt’s comeback & relations with the underworld are not shown. There are Hirani moments but its the weakest movie he has directed so far. Ranbir gives an award winning performance along with great support by Vicky Kaushal who never fails to impress. Rating ***
