Timothy Spall's acting is sublime... a seriously wonderful performance, but sadly not much featured after the first episode of this 4-parter. I'm going against the tide here, but I found the rest of the series predictable, creepy, not particularly well explained, and just below average quality. Some TV has magic, some doesn't. For me, this fell way short.
