Don’t watch this if you want an accurate depiction of history not tainted with western propaganda. This is more biased than the high school history classes I’ve taken. I was so disappointed as there is no mention whatsoever of the tyranny of the US and the west’s involvement in these dictators’ rise to power. It misleads you into thinking that the US is well-intentioned when it interferes with other countries, which couldn’t be further from the truth, One example of this show’s bias: In episode 2 “crush your rivals”, Saddam Hussein is a veryyy controversial character, so portraying merely one view shows how biased this show is. P.s., rotten tomatoes reviews hold no value anymore, this joke of a documentary does not deserve a 100% rating.

A movie turned horrible with the various historical inaccuracies. This movie portrayed Muslims and Islam in a horrible and inaccurate way. It also miserably failed to show the ability of Islam and science to perfectly harmonize. The movie makers' ignorance towards Islam and the time period's history is crystal clear. This movie shared a terrible and wrong image of Muslims. I would also like to repeat what a previous commentator has stated: Christians were welcomingly part of the Islamic world.
