A good gangster movie by mani ratnam. Kama sir acting to the peak.His emotional scenes lifted the movie more. The movie ended beautifully where in beginning of the movie childhood Kamal killed a police who was caused of his father's death.Later, Kamal was killed by a police's son at the end.

Such a pleasant movie with engaging plot and good remake from telugu movie. Characters representation awesome and was quite romantic and a complete entertaining movie.

Good benchmarked movie of tamil industry.... All casts played it well specially sivaji ganeshan sir and Kamal hassan sir nailed it.....
