Gorgeous 1950’s era film. Great adaptation of riveting story. Corruption and abuse of power are timeless themes. Cast is stellar. Strong movie on all fronts, for those who will give their full attention. I think Norton is the most gifted actor of his generation. Glad he fulfilled his desire to direct. Bravo!
