Reason for 1 star from me is that such shows and dramas compel the young women to think that all the good guys/loving partners are inherently boring and uninteresting and having relationship with a toxic playboy can bring excitement to your life. It's totally a bullsh*t concept. I mean when a person loves someone to the bones he'll definitely do anything to please his partner. How can it be less exciting than relationship with a playboy who doesn't care about your feelings and treats you like garbage?? And effect of such shows on men is even more serious. It may induce delusion of infidelity inside a person's head(which may lead to serious complications like Athello Syndrome). After watching such movies which include adultery even I sometimes wonder in the dead of the night that what if my wife someday cheats on me. What will our kids do if we were to separate by then? If I get into depression who will take care of my parents and what about my job? And mind you I'm unmarried and just 22 year old lol. I can't imagine what effect such shows have on those couples especially men who have to live separately from their partners because of work or some circumstances. Marriage which was considered a sacred act in ancient times is now being portrayed as a joke with such movies. It's forcing people to believe that happy marriage doesn't exist anymore and your spouse will not remain faithful to you forever. If it continues may be in future people will rarely get married and marriage will remain as just a word in the dictionary.
