Inception takes me back to the Journey era from Infinity through Raised on Radio, basically a decade of albums from the mid '70s to the mid '80s. You can really hear the subtleties and inspiration derived by that period of Steve Perry greatness. Hugo Valenti and band mates do a wonderful job here, and some songs would fit seamlessly on a Journey album for sure. This is a must-have if you've been craving the sound that the newer Journey lineup doesn't seem to deliver in their more recent releases.
