*SPOILERS* I really didn't enjoy this movie. I only very recently watched the first Gladiator, so I was very fresh into Ridleys universe. Everything I loved about the first movie, the pacing, the storyline, chemistry between characters and emotion just was not there in this film. The film is so rushed you never develop any sort of connection with the characters, which makes every battle, every death and any turbulence feel extremely lack lustre due to the fact that I just did not care for them. The ridiculous CGI of having the coliseum filled with water, and sharks AND boats, in a land locked city of Rome, paired with these bizarre ape like CGI creatures, just made it feel so lifeless. I was relieved when the movie ended.

Absolutely dreadful. The mechanics have been over complicated and most of the motions have no correlation to the controls. UFC 2 stomps all over 3 and 4. No wonder it’s at 50% off, no one should have to spend a penny let alone full price on this game.
