I went into this movie worried about Will Smith trying to do his version of the late, great Robin William's. I had no need to worry. He did his own version of the genie and it was amazing. The music made me want to dance with the cast, the direction was astounding, and the acting heartwarming. If I had any complaints, I suppose it's that Iago was a more or less regular parrot, if slightly more intelligent. I have no idea why the critics rated this movie so low, this was a must see.
