I was wondering if anyone would make comedy based on the Gilbert and Sullivan’s opera “Ruddigore”, where centuries of ancestors come out of their portraits and comedically torment the Baronette of the family estate. Hearing this was a British show redone for US seems to clinch it. It’s a fun show. Good characters, writing and timing.
