Growing up a die hard Dora fan, this movie did not disappoint! It is great for all ages. The plot was pretty predictable but it was adventurous and fun enough to say who cares. 10/10 recommend as a family outing movie. I went into the movie with not crazy high expectations, since it’s a life action movie based on an animated kids show, and it satisfies me. People who dislike this movie either go in with too high or too low expectations. Go in with a positive attitude for a good time. The animation for swiper and boots isn’t great, but nobody questions it and it’s great to move past it and enjoy the movie. Also the main actress was perfect at playing a “homeschooled” child dropped in high school. I have many friends who were homeschooled and then went to high school and they hadn’t the same awkwardness as Dora. I love how they captured that.
