The concept as a whole is pretty cool, and the atmosphere is well done. But the enemies are overpowered, the player is under powered, it takes itself FAR too seriously,, and just everything that happens while your walking around is ridiculous! The controls are garbage as well. I do NOT like this game. Truthfully, it's an absolute mess. I wanna see them try again with this, and make it better.

WARNING: Depending on what you definition of spoilers are, there may be a spoiler or two. While I wasn't the biggest fan of the ending, the book as a whole is really something. I was an absolute nerd for the game, and was really excited to read this book. Again, I don't really like the ending, but as shown by the fact that it's called "Book 1", the ending is supposed to do be that way because it leaves the door open for more books to walk through it. And I personally can't wait to see where it goes. Especially after that ending. In fact It's still bothering me as I type this. But all in all, the book is really good, and if you're a fan of the game, I definitely recommend it.
