The God-tier music is a perfect complement to this astoundingly simple but incredibly fun, deep adventure. 20 out of 10. If you've seen the 1st movie, if you've never seen Downton Abbey at all but you're interested in it, go see this movie. There's a recap of the first film anyways. If you're not into Downton Abbey at all, but you watch this & hate it anyways, you deserved the poor experience bc you knew very well what you were walking into: a movie about a bunch of fancy people, living in a fancy house with servants. However, if you're a fan, you won't go wrong here. In addition to the always-divine score, the cast of lovable characters and their storylines, this movie hit a couple of home runs in the diversity department. No spoilers but for this time period, this movie scores MAJOR points in uplifiting POC & LGBT+ representation. Masterpiece. It was over as soon as it started. And it has 2 hrs of run time.

Not a kids movie, but more for children AND children of all ages. Don't listen to critics when they didn't even appreciate the first Space Jam. An incredibly fun, inspiring movie featuring The World's Greatest Dad and familiar Looney Tunes characters. Definitely not enough kiddie gags to keep the little ones entertained, unless they're huge Looney Tunes fans or basketball fans. It's a colorful Looney Tune romp, but tiny kids that watch Paw Patrol and Bubble Guppies may not enjoy it. But for everyone else, it's a vibrant, magical and heartfelt feels fest with the endearing LeBron James. Plus its full of fun Easter Eggs. 4 out of 5 from me because I honestly felt the basketball segment was much too short. I could have watched the movie for another hour.

As a musical, it's an absolute delight. The visuals are vibrant, the bits of choreography are dazzling, the cultural representation is exuberant and the acting is engaging. I'm sure you'll fall in love with at least one character, as several different, imaginative storylines were represented. But beware: if you go into this blind, expecting a Step Up movie and/or not knowing anything about the original, you'll be sorely disappointed. Mom and I went into this expecting a dance movie, going entirely off commercials and nothing else, and ended up walking out. The singing, for those of you going in blind, outweighs the dancing and spoken dialogue by far. In the first five minutes, there's more singing in this than a Disney movie. Beware if you are NOT a musical fan!
