I was attracted to Inventing Anna because of “Ruth” from Ozark. Her acting skill impressed me, not her mastery of accent.
Several of the female characters were totally wrong. Casting a tall trans in role of trainer was poor choice.
Poor directing.
Disappointed with Netflix. Such a waste.

This movie was almost a mystery “spoof”! Characters were very flawed beginning with police detective s for their extremely unprofessional behaviors all the way to daughter of Cassie/Meagan.
I watched entire show, but overall the actual storyline was surprisingly poor.
