Besides the scenes that are too real for my comfort, I think it's an interesting story about a young girl's dichotomy between being accepted very conservative family and being accepted in a culture that, through social media and other media, promotes an unhealthy idea of sexuality and the desire of being like the sexualized people they see online. In her quest for identity away from the former as she goes through puberty, she gets swept up in the latter and makes choices that later come to bite her back.
I think it would be a good movie showing the dangers of both sides, if the story was compelling throughout, with all the elements properly tied together; I felt the desire to click somewhere else throughout, and it only really came together at the end.
