FOUR STARS for Krakowski, Randy and most definitely the band & vocalists.
We enjoy the show as an adult family and play along.
But when they feature grifters-turned celebrities like Teresa Giudice - who barely knew where she was and only tried (unsuccessfully) to answer one question - it's embarrassing for all concerned. You can argue that they appear to win money for their favorite charities but it's hard to believe it's not going for some new Manolos.
Fox has had a terrible pattern of using these game shows to turn pseudo-celebs and RWing loons into folk heroes. They're not. Better off to keep all politics - and controversial "personalities" - out of it entirely. We stopped watching "The Masked Singer" after they tried to make Fruity Rudy seem like all is forgiven and acceptable for trying to uproot democracy with his twisted lunacy.
Time will tell whether we do the same with "Name That Tune."

The hot mess "reality" show with repercussions for being mean. More of this please. Characters/actors are engaging and my whole family was hooked from day one straight through to the stellar finale!

Change it up. Always change it up. The talent is there and so is the edge. So much better than the boring tediousness of other musical competition shows.

For everything I thought I knew about Motown, this doc proved to me that there were so many levels. Watching the relationship between Berry & Smokey was particularly delightful. "Love of the music" never rang so true.

Kennealy's writing style was very honest and an easy read, with many insights and stories not everyone would otherwise know. Decades later, the book stayed with me. She passed on 7/23/2021 -- 50 years and 20 days after Morrison died.
