This movie uses scare tactics and blames tech companies for issues of a full technological society. Yes, tech companies are an issue and tech addiction is seriously hurting our society, but the fantasy scenes and dark ominous sound effects detract from the truth of the problem. Data should be regulated and companies should be responsible for false information, but there are non-profit and private companies who cause many of these issues at the same societal rate as these large social network companies.
