I’ve never played the first one so I cannot compare it, however I’ve found this game to be *very* buggy on the PS5. I’ve not even made it through the second part of the campaign story/ tutorial because I have to constantly restart that entire section due to bugs. - I got stuck in the Jeep after a Dino attack, it was fine, but afterward I could not leave the Jeep. I tried to return the ranger vehicle to the base through the menu, which did so, but I was still stuck. I exited the game, resumed the level, to see if it would at least let me leave after that, no luck. - if you’re able to work ahead of the tutorial, it messes up the timing for it and can be an annoyance. Specifically, it’s harder to get tasks done because it automatically triggers certain events. - the first campaign it makes you do, just feels a little slow. I know it’s to help understand controls, but it still falls flat. - sandbox mode is disappointing. In every game similar to this style, sandbox mode you’re able to unlock all items regardless of how far you are in the campaign thus the point of a sandbox. This game I don’t like that I am *forced* to do every single campaign to get just a single thing for the sandbox. I’d like to play without worrying about certain things, but sandbox is completely unplayable entirely until you’ve done a majority of the campaign. - overall, if I could have actually played the sandbox, I would have rated this game much higher because the actual gameplay (bugs aside) is fun, but I can’t play the game at all due to the bugs in the campaign and sandbox not having anything or any Dinos even unlocked.

The most disappointing horror movie I have seen. It would have been a good movie if it was a B movie, but it's not. It's supposed to be a huge big-name movie apart of the Conjuring universe, which left me disappointed. The writing and the story does not make any sense - there's too many plot holes and unneeded scenes that don't add to the story. I have rewatched three times and there's at least three scenes that I still don't understand why they're there. The editing is also bad. Writing issues and inconsistencies aside, there's so many editing mistakes that shouldn't be made from a big production movie - amatuer mistakes like things moving around in each shot, the guy being injured in the background in one shot, then completely fine with only a little scratch the next. As a B movie, all the mistakes would have been fine and it would have been a decent movie. It's one of the few movies were the protagonists 'winning' at the end shouldn't have worked and she was scarier in the other movies than she was in her own which is honestly sad. There are a few good jump scares, but that is about it.
