The story is fast paced and had all the right turning points in it. It was in fact one of my fastest reads and I have enjoyed reading the first book. Roman Bliss wants to bring his family owned resort to its previous glory and Jenny London is the Social Media manager, new hire for the resort who is helping Roman in his attempt to get the resort back on its business after having suffered a financial hit.
Roman of course along with his brothers are all handsome and have been heartthrobs from high school. Jenny has changed since she left high school and Roman could not recognize her right away. They both develop feelings towards each other and run into problems because of the said feelings, which almost breaks them up.
Will Roman and Jenny succeed in restoring the resort to its previous glory and make it a successful business? Well, for that you might as well pick up the book and read it.
I enjoyed the rom-com angle of the book, only down side being: it felt a little immature/childish in few circumstances.
Beau and Claire's story in a nutshell is not that different from Roman and Jenny's. Beau's partying persona that he has created for the world to see just so he can get away with his pain. what is he actually suffering from is not actually worth all the pain is going through to portray as someone he is clearly not.
Claire is introduced to the Bliss resort so she can share Beau's responsibilities and make changes in the working style of beau's department. And if he cannot keep away from trouble he would even be fired, that is the ultimatum he receives from Roman.
Will Beau finally make the right impression with his partner, Claire and Roman? And how do Beau and Claire end up together? Again, to find out you need to pick up the book and read it.
Other than same pattern I found in this book and the previous one, it was an easy read. I just found it monotonous.
By the time I reached this book in the series, I was slowly losing patience. I saw the same pattern being repeated from the first two books. Though this book is about another brother and he has his own set of problems he is dealing with, reading the same thing over and over again can get tiring.
I can count of one hand the number of times I have abandoned a book. Unfortunately, this book happens to be in the count. I could only read the first few pages and was done with the book and series. Maybe at a later date I might pick it up and enjoy it. Not today!
