Graphics are good. Gameplay is decent, not great. Wonky melee. Shooting is okay. Long story short, it's not The Last of Us. It's trying to be. The writing is not as sharp. The plot slogs. The characters are unspeakably boring and unrelatable. Their actions make little sense and the backstory makes no sense...We are supposed to believe a successful research scientist fell in love with the violent member of a motorcycle gang? Even ignoring the absurdity, the story structure structure is all over the place. The cartoonish supervillain is introduced 3/4 of the way through the game. He's clearly psychotic and evil and the game has you run ERRANDS for him for hours and hours as a member of his army. Your violent gang member of a protagonist salutes him and says "Yes sir!" multiple times. Silliness.
