Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made a stupid movie which is only made watchable by the performances of Ranveer, Jim Sarbh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Deepika. It is about a much debatable if not non-existential quality in rajputs, valour(unless you call social media outrage and spineless death threats valour). It doesn't follow history, the poem 'padmavat', or even reason to be blunt. I had researched the history and the poem, before watching the movie. Having said that, the acting by the aforesaid actors sure is fabulous. Watch this film if you would and treat it as pure fiction, a figment of Bhansali's imagination, catering to the stupid and of course, buffoons(you know who I am talking about).
